The Family business started with our first generation in mid 1950s focusing in wholesaling food products trading. Seizing the opportunity of the government’s open door trade policy of the 1970’s, we succeeded in introducing a broad range of high quality imported products into the Egyptian market. Our family name Sakr has become a brand name when put on any imported food product; a name known of trust and quality.
The second generation had a huge impact on the company profile and was a pioneer in expanding the trade and entering the food industry field. That was until they split in the late 1990s forming independent organizations that work in food business since then; and that was the real beginning of Eagle Group.
